Gunners Premier and Arsenal Select Tryouts
Every player who aspires to play on an Arsenal or Gunners team must attend tryouts. This applies even to players who were on an Arsenal or Gunners team previously. Tryouts are run by the ISC Director of Football, along with a hand-selected group of coaches with substantial soccer backgrounds. In addition, the coaches who will be running the teams will attend the tryout for their age group. Players wear numbered pinnies, and no names are used during the tryout. Coaches follow a set process for grading all players, combining their scores and discussing their rankings with the Director of Football. A final ranking of player numbers is created. Following this rigorous process, one or more teams will be formed and offers will be tendered to the players who make the grade. There is a possibility your child may not be chosen for a team.

Before tryouts:
Determine what age group your player will play in for the upcoming season by checking the age chart on the ‘Rec Overview’ page. The letter U before an age group means “under” so a U12 player is under 12 years old.

Paper registration forms will be available at the tryout but online registration is absolutely the preferred method; player rosters are printed directly from the online registration information. Tryout registration cost is $25.
Tryout results are usually posted online within 48 business hours of the final tryout. All players that are offered a position will have their jersey # listed online. Players must register for their new team within 48 hours of the offer in order to guarantee their spot on the roster.
Youth Logistics
1. All tryout participants are required to bring a signed medical release to check in. Please arrive 20 minutes early to submit medical release and receive your tryout jersey.
2. Please wear shin guards and bring plenty of water; you do not need to bring your own ball.
